Zach Griffin

Zach has over a decade of experience helping clients negotiate a variety of contracts, ranging from billion-dollar strategic partnerships to simple purchase orders. Zach started his legal career at a premier global law firm, Jones Day, where he helped private equity clients navigate complex purchase and sale agreements and understand the contractual risks involved with the companies they were buying or selling.  

After three years at Jones Day, Zach joined the in-house legal team at Magic Leap, a technology company in the augmented reality market. At Magic Leap, Zach continued to work on complex investment-related transactions, but his practice also broadened as he helped review and negotiate hundreds of vendor agreements and NDAs for facilities, IT, HR, finance, and operations related matters.  

 

Zach has always been an entrepreneur at heart having co-founded and managed a non-legal business prior to law school -- so after three and a half years at Magic Leap, he left and started GTX Legal in January 2020. Zach received his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and his Bachelor of Science (Finance) degree from the University of Florida. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and Ohio.
