Shelby Douglas

Shelby Douglas is an experienced attorney that brings a unique and valuable perspective to transactional
matters, having previously worked in commercial litigation and transactional practices. Shelby began her
career as a litigation associate at a prominent Texas law firm, focusing on the representation of private
and public companies in various commercial disputes. After a few years at the law firm, Shelby went in-
house and worked at a few companies, one of which was publicly traded. While in-house, she counseled
the companies in all areas of their respective businesses, including drafting and negotiating complex
customer and supplier agreements, services agreements, software licenses, and non-disclosure
agreements. After five years of working in-house, Shelby joined GTX Legal in July 2023. Having an
experienced eye for how contracts could be challenged brings tremendous value to Shelby’s
transactional work for GTX clients.

 

Shelby received her Juris Doctor degree from Texas University School of Law, and her Bachelor of Science (Psychology) degree from Texas University. She is admitted to practice law in Texas.
